Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. * Florida state laws require a tax filing form to be completed within 30 days of receiving your shipment.
** Orders to Georgia and Michigan require exact date of birth for both purchaser and recipient.
*** Orders to Hawaii, Kansas and Wisconsin require exact date of birth for the recipient.
We Cannot Ship Wine to the Following States
Due to current state regulations, we unfortunately cannot ship wine to the following states:
Iowa Kentucky Louisiana Michigan Mississippi
Adult Signature Requirement:
We strongly suggest shipping your order to a business address. State law, as well as UPS policy, requires an adult signature (at least 21 years of age) at the time of delivery for every package containing wine. It is the shipper’s responsibility to ensure an adult is available to sign for the shipment at delivery.
Important Shipping Updates
Heat & Weather Conditions: Because of our sensitivity to the temperature variances that can occur during the summer months, we generally ship Monday through Wednesday during periods of high heat (above 80°F) to ensure same week delivery. We also have the ability to include gel packs to protect packages from heat spikes. We may, at times, contact customers to consult on overnight shipping or a holding the shipment back to ensure the integrity of their wines. You will receive an email confirmation and tracking number when your order has shipped.
Additional Shipping Information
Will Call: Orders can be placed via the website or phone and then picked up at the winery. Once your order has been processed, you will be contacted by the winery to confirm your order is ready to pick up. Will Call orders must be picked up within 30 days of notification. After 30 days, your order will be shipped to you from the winery and shipping costs will be applied to your order. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact us at 707-968-3200.
PO Boxes or APO/FPO: Unfortunately, USPS regulations restrict shipping alcohol to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Shipping Rates: Our shipping rates are based on the weight of the individual package and where the package is to be delivered.
Returns & Cancellations:
We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer provide proof of damage or flaw for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for a replacement of corked or flawed product. Once the requested information is received we replace the flawed bottle of wine.
If a shipment is returned after 3 attempted deliveries, a $20 return fee will be charged to the customer's credit card on file. Returned wine will not be credited back to the customer. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages. We can re-ship the returned wine back to the customer and applicable shipping charges of the full shipping fee will be applied to the customer's credit card on file. If the customer purchased the wine with a shipping promotion, the full shipping charge will be applied to the customer's account (this includes wine club shipments and Brix Preferred members).
