2008 Round Hill Merlot
Vibrant fruit aromas with a touch of warm spice. Fruit forward with silky smooth tannins and flavors of cherry and blueberry interwined with hints of vanilla and dried herbs. A round mouthfeel and clean finish.
Food Recommendation:
An exceptionally easy-drinking wine, this supple Merlot pairs well with pizza, barbecued chicken or braised pork chops.
Winemaker's Notes:
The 2008 growing season was long - stretching from late August until nearly November - and was relatively mild. This resulted in excellent fruit quality, giving our wine ripe flavors and balanced acidity. Rich and concentrated, this is a perfect wine to enjoy everyday.
